Self promo for my newest card game, Jewel Thief; but you can play it for free! First, though, let's cover the basics...
TL;DR - Its a 4+ player competetive card-matching game with four rule variants; buy it here or look for the orange text in this post to learn how to play it with a regular deck
"What is Jewel Thief?"
It's a card matching game with a villain; one player tries to match jewels in a 36 card grid while their opponent, the titular Jewel Thief, periodically steals cards from the board. You can check out its page on The Game Crafter for more information, but it'll spoil the rest of this post
"What makes it special?"
The game's turn structure would theorettically allow you, perhaps via some kind of infinite cloning machine, to play a round of Jewel Thief til the heat death of the universe. While I wouldnt recommend that, its lack of a player cap (and ease of set-up; seriously, all you do is put cards on a table) makes it a good party game choice.
But that's not all!
There are three extra rule variants that drastically alter the gameplay while keeping card matching and stealing as main mechanics. I believe the cards are versatile enough to allow for many custom games, too
"Okay, but why should I buy a silly game from some bug nerd?"
First off, ouch. Second off, that's the best part; you dont have to buy it to play it! Jewel Thief can be played with a standard 52 card deck. Here's how:
Step 1. Remove the 10s, Jacks, Queens, Kings and Jokers
Step 2. Download the free rules from the shop page
Step 3. Play the game, matching cards based on their values. You'll need to designate a value as the Diamond jewel for game 4
-------
That's it for my little self-promo. If you dont buy the game, I hope you'll at least give it a try and consider supporting my future projects.
I also post art and photography, which you can find under the bugbeast art and bugbeast photos tags. I hope you check them out
Thank you for your time <3
--------
Edit (Mar. 25, 2024) : Thank you to everyone who liked and reblogged this; if you play the game I encourage you to share your thoughts in the comments and/or reblogs (even if you hated it). Feel free to share any custom games or house rules you come up with, too. I'd love to try them!
Edit (Aug. 10, 2024) : Final edit most likely; gonna blaze this one more time for good luck then maybe start work on a postmortem for the project, maybe give a little backstory for anyone who cares. Life is a little rough right now, but fate willing, I'll be able to work on/post about my future projects, including the future of Jewel Thief itself

Best Friends & Orange Cassidy vs Miro & Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford Feud (Oct 2020 - Mar 2021)
Hey, I finally finished putting this together! (its just tv stuff, i missed any twitter tweets)
I've supplied (brief) summaries, hyperlinks, and timestamps for each show, mostly to fite/triller where you can directly watch them if you have an AEW+ sub. If you don't, I tried to include some youtube/twitter alternative links where applicable. I've also left the bilibili video ids from before I got fite/triller, they're in blue.
(My advice: feel free to skip straight to Jan 06 2021.)
It's a looooong post, so its under this readmore. You can also find it as a separate page on my tumblr here. if i end up hosting it anywhere else i'll edit the original post and put a link here as well maybe
by zon :)

OCT 14 2020
https://www.f4wonline.com/news/aew/results/aew-dynamite-anniversary-show-live-results-four-title-matches-322571
The feud begins. The first match of the show is Best Friends vs FTR. Kip and Penelope are… playing… on an arcade cabinet in the arena. Trent accidentally destroys the cabinet while fighting FTR. Kip and Penelope to run off. After the match ends, they return with Miro who beats up Chuck and Trent. After a commercial break, Miro/Kip have a tag match (squash) against Lee Johnson/Sean Maluta and then do a promo about the broken arcade cabinet.

Returning from supporting Orange Cassidy in his lumberjack match, Best Friends bump into Miro, Kip, and Penelope (MKP, if you will) in the halls. MKP are pretty chill about the whole broken arcade thing and offer them some presents and halloween treats. Chuck and Trent are unamused. MKP then reveal that it was merely a halloween trick™ and beats them up.

Also, Orange has a rematch against Cody for that TNT championship since their last match ended due to the time limit. This time its a lumberjack match. Best Friends are present and also take part in the chaos.

NOV 2 2020
Excalibur interviews Trent and Miro ahead of their upcoming match on Wednesday over webcam. It’s 6 minutes long, and mostly Excalibur bearing witness to Trent and Miro arguing. Gonna give a shout out to their distinct webcam setups, lol (Trent is using workout earbuds and sitting in what has to be a large dim empty room, Excalibur is in his bedroom, and Miro is in his gamer office with a headset)

Trent vs Miro. During the entrances they show a clip from the interview from Nov 2nd. Orange and Chuck are hanging out ringside, as well as Kip and Penelope. Eventually Chuck runs off stage while fighting Kip. Dark Order appear to beat up Orange since hes fighting John Silver at the upcoming Full Gear. Miro scares them off and then defeats Trent with his submission hold. After the match, Miro puts Trent back into his Game Over submission and Chuck runs in to save him. Kip was following close behind. Chuck and Trent get both of their asses kicked. Orange attacks MKP and the two sides split off.

Full Gear! Orange has a match against John Silver. Later on, he gets interviewed by Dasha alongside Best Friends. MKP interrupt the interview– Kip’s mad that Orange’s beef with the Dark Order caused them to show up at the Trent vs Miro match, and that they could’ve hurt Penelope. He asks for an apology from Orange and then immediately slaps him anyway. Best Friends get mad on his behalf but Orange casually says everythings cool and walks with the two of them offscreen. Everyone is confused at how chill he is.

Trent vs Michael Nakazawa Chuck and Orange are hanging around ringside. Not necessarily MKP-related, but Excalibur mentions their feud. The Wrestling Observer article says that Nakazawa sabotaged Trent during his match against Miro way back when, but I’m not sure where that’s specifically mentioned. It’s really just in service of facilitating this goofy comedy match.

The dynamite diamond ring match! Best Friends accompany Orange and hang around ringside along with a group of others to even out the odds as MJF has the entire Inner Circle backing him up. This is a pretty fun match. At the end, Miro comes out to knock Orange out while the ref is preoccupied by ringside chaos, and then MJF takes advantage of this to pin Orange for the win. Its one of those little “will u wrestle us at revolution? y/n/maybe :)” asking-someone-out-in-highschool kind of notes. Miro gets mad and says its childish and that Orange Cassidy is such a bad influence on him. But if Chuck comes home he’ll teach him how to be a man. Over the course of 2022 you’ll occasionally see a guy in the crowd with a cardboard box on his head. That’s Kip Sabian, out of kayfabe he was dealing with recovering from a shoulder injury? It lasted a while and when he recovered he came back as a my chemical romance lookin’ dude who may or may not have thought the cardboard box was controlling him? The gimmick didn’t get over so it got dropped pretty fast. He also had a short feud again against Orange Cassidy in 2023 when Orange had the All-Atlantic Championship– he got under Orange’s skin so bad! Anyway thats neither here nor there. Thanks for reading!

On December 12th 1574, Anne of Denmark, the wife of King James VI, was born.
Anne was the second child of Frederick II, King of Denmark and Sophia of Mecklenburg. Her father was reportedly so angry at the birth of a second daughter that he stormed into the birthing chamber to remonstrate his wife.
She was sent to live in Mecklenburg for the first four years of her life, before returning to Denmark, where she lived under her mother’s care until her marriage. She received a good education for a Princess of her rank.
In as early as 1586, the possibility of marriage was raised between Denmark and Scotland, but it wasn’t Anne who was the subject of debate, it was her sister Elizabeth. However, their dying father showed little interest in a match, and the Scots went home without a new Queen. Frederick died in 1588 and was succeeded by Anne’s brother Christian. Elizabeth became betrothed to the Duke of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel in 1689, and the attention shifted to Anne. Her mother had taken over as matchmaker and negotiations were concluded quickly. Anne married James by proxy on 20 August 1589.
Anne set sail from Denmark on 5 September, but a storm scattered the fleet and Anne was stuck at sea for several days. The fleet was eventually forced to return to Denmark before setting off again. Once again, Anne didn’t make it to Scotland. On 24 September a public feast day was declared, and James ordered that prayers be said for Anne’s safe arrival. By early October, James despatched a ship to look for her and found her in Norway. Anne had been forced to go to Oslo to wait out the winter weather. James decided to go in person and sailed to Norway at the end of October. They were married in person in Oslo on 23 November, and during the ceremony, Anne was described as “a Princess both godly and beautiful … she giveth great contentment to his Majesty.” They travelled by sledge to Denmark, where Anne was reunited with her family. They spent three months in Denmark and even stayed for Elizabeth’s wedding.
Anne and James landed in Scotland on 1 May 1590, and she was given a grand ceremonial entry to Edinburgh, and she was crowned Queen of Scotland on 17 May. She may have converted to Catholicism within a few years of their marriage.
She gave birth to her first child in February 1594, a son named Henry Frederick. She was pregnant a total of 9 times, but she had two miscarriages, and four children died in infancy. Only Henry Frederick, Charles and Elizabeth survived to adulthood. Anne’s refusal to be separated from her eldest son, who was to be raised in Stirling Castle by the Earl of Mar is said to have caused a miscarriage.
On 24 March 1603, James succeeded to the throne of England and immediately headed towards England. Anne followed him but more slowly. She stopped at Stirling Castle and demanded to see her son. After a furious discussion, Anne suffered yet another miscarriage, and she was even dangerously ill for a while. James wanted her with him in London and finally allowed her to travel to England with both Henry and Elizabeth.
Anne and James were crowned together on 25 July 1603 in Westminster Abbey, and Anne threw herself into her new role as Queen of England. She spent a lot of time producing and performing in masquerades, which became more costly as her husband’s reign went on.
Tragedy struck in 1612 when her eldest son died, and Anne never recovered from the shock. Her grief became even greater when her daughter Elizabeth left for Germany to be married in 1613. Anne’s relationship with James was cordial, but they rarely saw each other. Anne’s health began to steadily deteriorate, and over Christmas 1618 she was too ill to attend the court festivities. James was afraid of disease and refused to visit Anne, but her son Charles remained by her side. Anne died in the early hours of 2 March 1619 at Hampton Court Palace in the same chamber where Jane Seymour had died.

Signs of 12th house
12th house in Aries
-> Ruler Mars
-> How to use your Aries 12th house at your advantage ?
What you are passionate and ambitious about is what you create.
Impulsive and agressive without knowing and attracting weird scenarios into your life is what makes your 12th house. Tho all that direct and straightforward energy can be useful to you. Use your subconscious drive and energy at your advantage. Be active physically. Do sports, express your aggressive side in a healthy way. So you can avoiding unpleasant circumstances and not be the victim of those who envy your strength. Maybe listen to affirmations from agressive coaches who are not afraid to curse you out while you are doing your morning jogging. Your subconscious mind would love it. Exhaust your body to reduce the mars energy present in your body and to avoid outburst of anger. Finally discipline your martian mind by following a strict routine or rules in what you want to achieve. Think military mindset. Use wisely and strategically your energy so you can become the leader you are meant to be.
12th house in Taurus
-> Ruler Venus
-> How to use your Taurus 12th house at your advantage ?
What you love deeply is what you create.
You are selfless and you are so generous that you can give anything to those you love. You love deeply and kindly. Plus you want everyone around you to feel safe and secure. However some people can take advantage of your generosity and kindness. The best thing for you is to redirect this kindness and generosity to yourself first. Redirect your love into self love, be a bit selfish with your generosity and love. Only give it to those who reciprocate it to you even tho no one can actually match your generosity. At least they can try. Let people show you they love you and make yourself a priority too. When you are alone, do all the things you love without overindulging in your guilty little pleasures, aka food, online shopping, food again. You are also deeply attached to those you love and it’s hard for you to let go of those attachments even after many times after a separation. Learn to detach from those who are no longer in your life to not make yourself stuck. Life can offer so much to someone so kind and generous as you are and you frankly deserve it.
12th house in Gemini
-> Ruler Mercury
-> How to use your Gemini 12th house at your advantage ?
What you think and say is what you create and attract.
Words, words, words… So many words in your head all the time. You don’t even have the breath necessary to say them all at the same time. The brain of an ADHD person so full of contrast and unpredictability. When spending time alone, talk to yourself, so much that you won’t have the need to talk more than necessary when you are around people. Because those words you might say without thinking are your subconscious mind playing its part in your life. Those words can also sometimes work against you in your life when interacting with people. You may find yourself gossiping and giving away secrets of people who have trusted you. So saying less to others will be best for you. Think twice before saying something or answering any question. (If you can’t really stop yourself from speaking in a moment then just talk around the subject without giving out important information.) These words can be so useful to you too ! You can use words to help yourself manifest the life you desire. Writing down, saying them out loud and saying your affirmations each day. The right use of your words can help your subconscious manifest and yourself evolve.
12th house in Cancer
-> Ruler Moon
-> How to use your Cancer 12th house at your advantage ?
What you feel you create and attract.
Your emotions and how much comfort you feel are important. You can be pretty comfortable with others’ emotions but yours ? It’s hard for you when you are alone and feeling all your emotions. It can be overwhelming. That’s why having a comfortable home can be useful to you. At home you need to feel safe, secure and free to sit with yourself and your emotions. Having a comfortable bed can help you deal with your 12th house. It can become your spiritual sanctuary where you can energise yourself and feel safe. Learn to identify your emotions and the messages they are sending you. Your emotions are your greatest teachers. Develop also your intuitive side and listen closely to everything you are feeling. Cancer energy is the high priestess energy in Tarot and also the chariot. So be spiritual and intuitive but also a leader who goes after what it’s meant for them. Plus you probably have healing abilities as you naturally enjoy helping and taking care of others.
12th house in Leo
-> Ruler Sun
-> How to use your Leo 12th house at your advantage ?
What brings you joy and warmth is what you create.
You are incredibly strong and capable and you hide it but if anyone starts messing around with you you show them. Why not learning to unleash your incredible potential for your own benefit instead of waiting for someone to challenge you ? Accept all the traits of your Leo 12th house and the amazing talents and gifts your 12th house is bringing to your personality. Be bold, be charismatic, charming and show your performances. Put on a show baby. Everyone wanna see it. You have to learn to put yourself out there, in front stage with all the lights on shining on your beautiful persona. Let the world see your inner light. Let it shine bright. We are waiting for you. However you may have some insecurities you have a hard time to accept and you probably have incredible dreams you don’t think you can achieve. Heal your insecurities and drawbacks. Tap into your heart chakra to heal yourself because Leo energy is heart chakra energy. Lean into your heart chakra and know that you can make all your dreams come true. Accept your whole being, have compassion for yourself and show up as your most authentic self.
12th house in Virgo
-> Ruler Mercury
-> How to use your Virgo 12th house at your advantage ?
What you think precisely and say is what you attract and create.
Detail oriented, obsessed with strategising and reviewing plans before executing them. However you might be too judgmental with others and especially with yourself. Maybe working on being more comfortable with yourself might actually help you heal your inner self-judge. Then by using your words and incredible way of seeing details to further your creativity and your writing. That’s exactly what your subconscious mind need to do : to write words and specific details of anything you want to achieve. Journaling can be amazing for you to manifest a better reality for yourself. As mercury rules your 12th house, the use of affirmations can help you overcome any obstacle you may face when you are alone. Speak to yourself with words of kindness, healing and comfort your inner self to quit being so harsh on yourself.
Thank you for reading me and PART 2 is coming soon 💜

Wednesday, September 13, 2023, 23:22 UT - transiting Vesta enters Cancer
Friday, November 3, 2023, 01:52 UT - transiting Vesta stations retrograde, 7°30’ Cancer

Thursday, February 8, 2024, 09:44 UT - transiting Vesta stations direct, 21°45’ Gemini
Sunday, March 31, 2024, 10:56 UT - transiting Vesta re-enters Cancer
Wednesday, April 24, 2024, 03:07 UT - transiting Vesta exits post-retrograde shadow, 7°30’ Cancer
-=-=-+-=-=-
Usual caveat: this probably won’t have much of an effect on you personally, unless Vesta is prominent in your chart (closely aspecting the Sun, Moon, &/or an angle).
Whatever we’ve been trying to get off the ground, in Vesta’s areas, is going to have to be a big “do-over.” Look for extreme emotional neediness, hypersensitivity, &/or alienation in any of Vesta’s “areas:”
Personal integration - We still “feel off,” no matter what we’ve been trying to do to counter that.
Devotional/Religious activities - discontent with whatever we’ve been doing, or trying to do.
One’s work or path of service - not wanting to do it; we’d rather stay home.
Scholastic interests - Cancer isn’t addicted to academia for its own sake: subjects have to feel good as well as make intellectual sense. If we’re studying something that doesn’t meet both criteria, we’ll have difficulties.
Perhaps we’ve adhered too closely to familial or traditional methods of addressing these issues. Some of us may have tried to manipulate matters, inatead of tackling them directly; some others have tried the “ignore it and it’ll go away” approach, which also hasn’t worked out for us. The real roots of our struggles lie back in Vesta’s Gemini transit. That’s when and where we need to do the heavy lifting.
The first aspects after the retrograde station are a sextile between Vesta Rx/Cancer and Juno/Virgo (7°28’), on Sunday, November 5; and on Tuesday, November 7 a sesquiquad between Vesta Rx/Cancer (7°25’) to Ceres/Scorpio (22°25’). Partners are supportive, but family members are skeptical.
On Monday, November 13 and Tuesday, November 14, we have a quartet of unpleasantness:
Vesta Rx/Cancer (7°07’) sesquiquad Mars/Scorpio (22°07’)
Vesta Rx/Cancer (7°00’) sesquiquad Sun/Scorpio (22°00’)
Vesta Rx/Cancer square Venus/Libra, 7°00’
Vesta Rx/Cancer inconjunct Mercury/Sagittarius, 6°59’
Here especially is where we fail to manipulate or ignore our difficulties.
On Monday, November 27, Vesta Rx/Cancer is inconjunct Sun/Sagittarius, at 5°16’. Identity crisis? We try to bluff our way through and out of a situation, but it still hurts.
A couple of aspects on Thursday, November 30:
Vesta Rx/Cancer trine Pallas Athene/Scorpio, 4°45’
Vesta Rx/Cancer inconjunct Mars/Sagittarius, 4°40’
We have what we believe is a great insight - and maybe it is! - but there may be too many adjustments we’d have to make, before we can follow through.
Next, on Monday, December 4 and Tuesday, December 5:
Vesta Rx/Cancer inconjunct Ceres/Sagittarius, 3°56’
Vesta Rx/Cancer opposite Mercury/Capricorn
Those two on the surface don’t seem like a very big deal, but they are. The Mercury opposition happens twice more, during Mercury’s retrograde cycle, and when Mercury is in Sagittarius and Vesta in Gemini. Ceres, while still in Sagittarius, will also oppose Vesta. The changed perspectives make a huge difference.
It’s impossible not to regard these as a matched pair, although they’re almost a week apart:
Thursday, December 7, Vesta Rx/Cancer trine Venus/Scorpio, 3°15’.
Wednesday, December 13, Vesta Rx/Cancer trine Saturn/Pisces, 1°49’
Hard-earned sweet wisdom - we may feel like we “get it” now. The emphasis on tradition is very strong.
Finally, on Sunday, December 17 - a few days before Vesta re-enters Gemini - we get a delay in the form of Vesta Rx/Cancer (0°49’) sesquiquad Venus/Scorpio (15°49’). No matter what good resolutions we made, when Vesta was trine Venus and Satirn - it still isn’t the right, proper time for resolution. That happens after Vesta’s Gemini ingress; those unresolved issues are the source of the difficulties.

Heidenheim 0-2 Chelsea: Highlights, man of the match, stats as Blues continue perfect Conference League campaign
Chelsea continue flawless Conference League campaign with hard-fought 2-0 win over Heidenheim, thanks to goals from Christopher Nkunku and Mykhaylo Mudryk. Chelsea continued their flawless start to the Conference League with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Heidenheim on Thursday evening, with goals from Christopher Nkunku and Mykhaylo Mudryk giving Enzo Maresca's side the win. Kevin Muller and Filip Jorgensen were the stars of the show in the action-packed opening 25 minutes, both repeatedly tested as the two teams sliced through each other's defences, while Marc Guiu was notably wasteful in the final moment, failing to convert five great opportunities from inside the box. Chelsea maintained control of the possession for the rest of the half, holding 69% of the ball after 45 minutes, but Heidenheim stood strong and remained dangerous on the counter, though neither team were ultimately able to find the breakthrough, leaving the scores level at half time. After failing to find their clinical edge in the first half, the Blues needed just minutes in the second to break the deadlock, as Jadon Sancho's cross was brilliantly controlled by Nkunku, who fired into the far corner to give Chelsea the lead and net his seventh goal in Europe this season. Heidenheim pushed for an equaliser as the game progressed, and the hosts briefly thought they had found it when Maximilian Breunig found the net with a stunning diving header, but their celebrations were swiftly cut short as the offside flag was raised, leaving the score at 1-0 as the clock ticked towards the final whistle. Chelsea doubled their lead just minutes later when Mudryk was found inside the box from Sancho's pull-back, and the Ukrainian fired a stunning first-time shot, curling it into the top right corner. Heidenheim continued to search for a way back into the game, and deja vu struck just moments after Chelsea's second when Breunig thought he had scored, only for the offside flag to be raised immediately, dashing the hosts' hopes once again as the game finished 2-0 to the visitors. The evening was slightly marred for Chelsea in the final moments when Cesare Casadei was shown a second yellow card, a harsh dismissal for the midfielder, but Maresca will ultimately be satisfied with the result as his side stay top of the Conference League table.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall picks up the ball and plays it out wide to Sancho, who faces up his defender and chips a pass towards the penalty spot, where Nkunku is lurking. The forward takes a superb first touch to bring the ball into his control, letting it bounce before side-footing his strike into the far corner, giving Chelsea the lead. Mykhaylo Mudryk goal vs. Heidenheim (86th min, Heidenheim 0-2 Chelsea) What a finish that is from Mykhailo Mudryk 😮💨 Chelsea look set to continue their fine form in Europe 🔥 📺 @tntsports & @discoveryplusUK pic.twitter.com/glsbdVCaUY — Football on TNT Sports (@footballontnt) November 28, 2024 Wow, what a finish from Mudryk to surely give Chelsea the win! Sancho and Dewsbury-Hall combine again on the right, with the winger receiving the ball back just inside the penalty area and taking a moment to pick out a teammate in the box. His cross is pulled back once more, this time into the path of Mudryk, who curls a sublime first-time strike into the top right corner, surely securing the victory for Chelsea. 96th min: Cesare Casadei (Chelsea) Red Card The night is slightly soured for Chelsea as Casadei receives his marching orders, the midfielder shown a second yellow card. The Italian pulls down Leo Scienza as Heidenheim look to advance up the pitch, and the referee shows him his second yellow card of the evening, meaning the midfielder will miss Chelsea's next match against FC Astana.
MAN OF THE MATCH - CHRISTOPHER NKUNKU
© Imago Nkunku scored the crucial opening goal for Chelsea, capitalising on a well-taken opportunity shortly after the break, slotting the ball into the far corner to give his team the lead. The forward's performance deserves far more recognition than just his goal, with Nkunku a constant threat throughout his 76 minutes on the pitch, registering four shots and also creating a chance for his team. Both goalkeepers also deserve mention for their stellar performances, each making a series of brilliant saves to keep their teams in the contest and ensure the game remained tight throughout the full 90 minutes.
HEIDENHEIM VS. CHELSEA MATCH STATS
Possession: Heidenheim 33%-67% Chelsea Shots: Heidenheim 16-17 Chelsea Shots on target: Heidenheim 11-8 Chelsea Corners: Heidenheim 3-6 Chelsea Fouls: Heidenheim 14-10 Chelsea
BEST STATS
4 - Christopher Nkunku is the first Chelsea player to score in each of his first four major European appearances for the club, and first to score in four in a row overall since Olivier Giroud in 2018-19. Notable. pic.twitter.com/8wl3SFyjH1 — OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) November 28, 2024 Jadon Sancho has 5 assists in just 6 starts for Chelsea this season 😳 pic.twitter.com/2krCikg8Rv — Football on TNT Sports (@footballontnt) November 28, 2024
WHAT NEXT?
The defeat for Heidenheim is their first of the league phase, but it does become their third successive loss across all competitions, and they now face two difficult encounters with Eintracht Frankfurt (home) and Bayern Munich (away) in the Bundesliga. Victory for Chelsea means they maintain their perfect record in the Conference League with four wins, while they remain unbeaten in their last five outings across all competitions, and they will look to extend that run when they face struggling Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday. ITF W50 Lopota (Apr 22) F: Evialina Laskevich def. Lina Glushko 6-4, 6-1 Match Recap
Lina Glushko's point to 2-3* 15-30 (top left), to 2-3* 15-40 (top right), to 2-3* 40-ad (middle left); Evialina Laskevich's point to *4-4 0-40 (middle right), and to take the first set 6-4 (bottom) (📸 ITF Media)
Closing the play in this week's ITF W50 Lopota (Apr 22) was the final match between Lina Glushko, who defeated Alexandra Shubladze 1-6, 6-2, 7-6(2) in a rollercoaster showing after being unable to serve it out in the third set, and Evialina Laskevich, who also underwent a topsy-turvy match after defeating Daria Kudashova 5-7, 6-3, 7-5 in the semifinals. This match ended up testing most of their aggression, where those who maintained their range as stable as possible stood out by the end of the match.
However, the question of their balance was already asked in the first game as Lina misfired his forehands, as evident in the last 2 points, that resulted in E. Laskevich breaking early to 1-0. The latter then consolidated to 2-0 as Lina put her name on the scoreboard with a service game hold to 2-1. The latter had a fair chance as she forced a failed smash to E. Laskevich for her one-point lead before having 2 break points, one thanks to a cross-court backhand pass, and another one through a forehand winner. E. Laskevich's forehand error secured the break-back to 3-3, and the next two consecutive games became service game holds.
However, the moment did not last long as Lina got pressed by E. Laskevich's baseline game, which affected her forehand errors while the double-fault midway did not help. This generated the latter's break point before its conversion came due to Lina's +1 forehand error, which gave a chance to E. Laskevich to serve for the first set. Ultimately, even though Lina became a stiff opposition at that game, E. Laskevich was still solid on serve to take the first set 6-4.
Evialina Laskevich's points to break 2-1 (top left), to *1-3 15-30 (top right), to *1-5 15-30 (middle), and to take the second set 6-1 (bottom) (📸 🎥 ITF Media)
The second set became a one-way traffic as E. Laskevich became more aggressive. After two straight holds, E. Laskevich started passing Lina's net game further as evident in her break to 2-1, followed by a consolidation to 3-1. The former also doubled her break as she took advantage of Lina's forehand errors by overpowering her, which also contributed to her double-break lead to 4-1 before another service game hold (5-1). A working pass secured E. Laskevich's 1-point lead afterward, which was followed by Lina's double fault and a +1 backhand error that secured E. Laskevich's title.
This marked E. Laskevich's second ITF title of the year after winning the ITF W15 Monastir (Mar 25), where both her and Lina will also present in next week's ITF W50 Lopota. Furthermore, this also propelled E. Laskevich's rank to 439 live, while Lina is at 357 live from this runner-up run. With several interesting names inside the current version of the entry list, this could also be one of the tournaments to look out for the week!

Aaron Vale and Carissimo 25 Best the Rest in the $62,500 LeMieux Grand Prix Qualifier CSI4* at World Equestrian Center – Ocala
Ocala, FL – It was an evening of excitement at World Equestrian Center – Ocala (WEC) on Thursday, March 7, 2024, for the $62,500 LeMieux Grand Prix Qualifier CSI4*. From the impressive field of thirty horse-and-rider combinations representing 10 nations, it was hometown hero Aaron Vale (USA) who galloped to victory aboard Carissimo 25.
Gregory Bodo (FRA) and Pieter Vitse (BEL) designed the challenging course in the WEC Grand Arena, which saw 10 talented duos jump fault-free and advance to the jump-off. Fourth to return, Vale guided Carissimo 25, an 11-year-old Holsteiner gelding (Cascadello x Clinton) owned by Debbie Smith, to a lightning-fast clear performance in 38.84 seconds. Ultimately, Vale could not be caught, claiming his second international win in as many weeks, having also won the $100,000 MARS Equestrian Grand Prix CSI3* during the 2024 Winter Spectacular Show Series Week IX.

Callie Schott (USA) and Garant, a 13-year-old KWPN gelding (Warrant x Verdi TN) owned by Southern Arches, LLC, came the closest to matching Vale’s time, stopping the clock in 39.87 seconds for second place. Canadian rider Sean Jobin completed the top three with Coquelicot vh Heuvelland Z, a 12-year-old Zangersheide gelding (Catoki x Cassini II), in 40.50 seconds.
“Down the road, to be number one in the world, I think I am going to have to find a few more strides to take out,” laughed Vale. “Tonight was about the plan; we stuck to it, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.” Vale has been selected to represent the U.S. as part of the team for the Longines League of Nations™ taking place at WEC – Ocala on March 20-24, 2024, where he will compete for his nation on home turf.“I am really looking forward to it,” he expressed. “It was a lot of fun to compete in Abu Dhabi, and I think it will be even more fun here.”

PARIS - NICE 2024

Scheduling
Alrighty, I think I have a grip on this project. After feedback in class, I'm liking a lot of the suggestions about what exactly I can make.
Someone also brought up whether or not I was going to be on camera, and I think the answer to that is no. I want it to be about making things, not about me making things, you know?
Anyway, here's the schedule I'm thinking of. This past weekend, I picked up materials to begin crafting.
Feb. 18-24: Begin setting up room to film. Film first clips the 24-25 - painting.
Feb. 25 - Mar. 2: Continue filming. Finish up paintings
Mar. 3 - 9: Begin filming other crafts; match tower, model city of toothpicks, etc. (pick one big one)
Mar. 10 - 16: Spring Break! Edit footage gathered thus far, get further clips (as things develop, use this time for further ideation/ideas/execution not yet discovered.) Get rough cut together.
Mar. 17 - 23: Critiques in class. This is also the week I film my Fiction, so I'll be focusing on that. May have some time to edit.
Mar. 24 - 30: One-on-ones. Implement feedback and perhaps do some pickups
Mar. 31 - April 6: Critiques and editing. Pick ups should be done, but I can always spend an afternoon getting more footage.
April 7 -13 Finalizing edit and sound
This gives me that final week to do whatever I need to, whether that be last minute footage, editing, sound, etc. That final week will also be me collecting supplies for my installation, though mostly just ways to display everything that was made on camera.
This will be subject to change, especially as my Fiction picks up. I want to have most if not all my footage by the time I shoot my Fiction, and also a rough cut, so that I can allot my time accordingly to each project.
I've got all the supplies I need to begin filming, and it will likely be on the weekends that I do most of it. I'll start painting this week and next week as that will be the majority of the art that I will make on camera.

It’s 25 Mar 2023 and I have been wondering about the gendering and symbolic construction of religion. I know why Shabbat is a bride, because it has to fuck the male chain, with or without the patriarchy, and Judaism says that Shabbat has kept the Jewish people, which is an enclosing function, meaning a cycle or modulation or wave which passes through each week in a series of obligations which various people over the years have sensed connect them to this modulation which connects them to whatever they connect. A lot of connects, each being a 1-0Segment, which flips, which makes a Dimensional Enclosure, which invokes D24 because that is D12. Did we lay out D24? I think we only did it in my head, not on paper.
So, D12 laid out as the visible non-resolution to integers factorization into SBE2. Simple as seeing that 12 counting to 1 says we overlay this which doesn’t resolve on to that which does and they match internally as SBE2 inverting over each other. So D24 completes that process and provides overlapping versions so it’s this D12 which has the 1-6 whose 12-7 overlays on top of the other chain, on top of the other Thing, so each matches to the other’s 12-7, thus entangling us.
That was a surprise, though it should not have been. I did not realize until the last sentence that this constructs the form of IC into LC, and actually makes clear that the difference is in the 1 in IC which represents Not 1, meaning some other 1. In IC, that defines over the 0’s, over Between, as the label for a few cases or ideas. One of those is that S is 1 and E is 0, which becomes 1 in a label because Between is 1 at the point where E occurs, like you’re trying to identify a single spot, a single search result, and everything which comes to that is Between, with this idealized so the label 1 could be of any size or scale, including of importance, so that means S as 1 may tend to 0 in significance or other labeling until it is a shell which contains only the label 1 and the idea has fully inverted so E is now in the role of S when S is as nearly complete 1 as can be. This would be D24, which means a modulation of that to develop a larger D24. A group construction.
So, in basic terms, this version of IC becomes LC, and that shows in that weird notation we developed over a decade ago of f1-3//3-1. Those // symbols are for the bidirectionality of the function, which we can now FINALLY say is inversion. We just solved some of the most interesting and deeply simplifying problems. The description of IC and LC has been a problem since the very beginning of my ability to phrase this work in anything approaching rigorous terms.
I owe this to a garter, to which I pledge myself, for it symbolizes a most essential lesson about versions, which we can now see invert: evil is the one who thinks evil. Evil is the one who chooses the evil version to believe. What a succinct statement of what we have been developing in the last days! What a brilliant way to communicate that symbolically! In Sin City itself!
————
Trying to continue. I have to take the cat to the vet for his rabies shot. That is always a fun time. I have half an hour before the struggle begins. He doesn’t put up that much of a fight, but he’s persistently and pathetically loud through the entire experience.
I’ve been trying to get through that inversion for a long time.
